QMediaLight is a subset of QMedia:
easy to use, self contained and affordable. Its
mission is to enable playback of QuickTime media,
plus to provide customization options for the movie
controller.
Light
but comprehensive
QMediaLight is designed for developers who need
the wealth of QuickTime-supported media in their
4D databases, but don't need to get into movie
editing, sequence grabbing, tracks, pan and tilt
angles, nodes, hotspots and all that stuff.
QMediaLight adds multimedia awareness to 4D in
a simple yet powerful way. It can display all supported
formats of still images, as well as play back standard
movies, VR movies, streaming movies, Flash animations
and animated GIFs, sounds, music, and more.
QMediaLight supports playback from both disk
files and Internet URLs (using the http://, ftp://,
rtsp:// and file:// protocols) and its plug-in
area setup can be done with a few clicks on the
Advanced Properties Dialog.
In a nutshell, QMediaLight is versatile, affordable,
easy-to-use; an excellent choice by all means.
