OrderING PLUG-IN upgrades

You may currently order upgrades for the following version pairs:

  • QPix 3.x to 3.5
  • QMedia 1.2.x to 1.5
  • QGrid 1.x to 1.5
  • QDrop 1.x to 1.5

The new versions are in the new, bundle plug-in format, Universal Binaries (native on both PPC and Intel Macs). Supported operating systems: MacOS 10.4 or later and Windows XP/Vista. Compatible with 4D 2004 and 11.3 SQL or later.


Are my licenses eligible for free upgrade?

Plug-in licenses with product number ending in 2745 or higher, are eligible for free upgrade. Eligibility for free upgrade applies to licenses that were actually purchased in the frame of a financial transaction, either directly from Escape or through a reseller. Licenses that were given out as gift, raffled out, etc, are not eligible for free upgrade.

To claim your free upgrades, send an email directly to Escape Sales with a list of the product numbers.


How do I order upgrades for non-eligible licenses?

  1. Make a list of the product numbers that you want to upgrade for each plug-in.
  2. Calculate your bill using page 2 of the order form (Upgrades page).
  3. Fill out the order form (page 2) and follow the instructions found on the form.

Is there any benefit when ordering more Runtime or Server seats at the same time?

Certainly. When upgrading Runtime and Server Expansion licenses, what you pay depends on the total number of similar licenses ordered. Buy a volume pack we'll deliver the exact mix of license keys that you need at no extra charge. For example, let's suppose you own:

  • 7 x QPix Server Expansion 1 seat
  • 4 x QPix Server Expansion 5 seats
  • 3 x QPix Server Expansion 10 seats

That's a total of 57 seats, so you'll pay 57 multiplied by the unit price of the 50+ class. As your needs may have changed since your original purchases, you can now ask for a different mix of license keys (anything that adds up to the total seats ordered). Let us know exactly what you need and you'll get it.


How do I send my order?

The default method is by fax, but you can also scan and email the form, if you prefer. If there's additional information that you need to send us, you may use an additional page of paper or send us an email prior to faxing the order. In any case, all methods are welcome on one reasonable condition: when your order form arrives, all related information must be in our hands as well.
