VR Movie Properties

Default view The view that is displayed when a QTVR movie is initially opened.
Current node The ID of the current VR node.
Pan angle The pan angle, expressed in degrees.
Pan angle range The minimum and maximum values for pan angle (set by the author).
Tilt angle The tilt angle, expressed in degrees.
Tilt angle range The minimum and maximum values for tilt angle (set by the author).
Field of view The viewing angle, expressed in degrees.
Field of view range The minimum and maximum values for field of view (set by the author).
View center The coordinates of the object's center in an object node. This property does not exist in panoramic views.
View center range The minimum and maximum values for view center (set by the author).

Node Properties

Type A 4-character code identifying the type of the node. Currently, QTVR supports two types of nodes:
  • panoramas ("pano")
  • objects ("obje")
ID A unique number that identifies the node within the VR movie. Node IDs are assigned by the authoring software.
Name The name of the node. Set by the movie's author.
Comment The node's comment. Set by the movie's author.

Hot Spot Properties

Type A four-character code identifying the type of the hot spot. Currently, QTVR supports the following types of nodes:
  • link hot spots ("link")
  • URL hot spots ("url ")
  • undefined hot spots ("undf")

An application can define and use its own hot spot types.

ID A unique number that identifies the hot spot within the node. Hot spot IDs are assigned by the authoring software.
Name The name of the hot spot.
Link destination The link destination of the hot spot. This can be a node ID or a URL.
