QTVR Movies

These are special kinds of movies that do not contain time-based media. Instead, they present three-dimensional virtual worlds where the user can navigate with the mouse or keyboard. Each QTVR movie contains a single scene, which in turn contains one or more nodes. Currently, QuickTime supports these two types of nodes:

Navigational links between nodes in a VR movie are provided by hot spots. Hot spots are graphical elements in VR nodes. When a hot spot is clicked, the user moves to the hot spot's link destination. Depending on hot spot type, the link destination can be another VR node, an Internet URL, or any application-specific entity.
